Lost Rescue Dog! 2yr old light grey male Havanese vanished from Darlene Court, Alamo, CA last night. Call 916-717-9508 if spotted. Last seen wearing red collar and leash, but without ID tags. Has Irish Pied markings, weighs 14lbs, and is in a short cut. Approach with caution: Alvin is afraid of strangers and may growl/bite if cornered. He was only placed at his adoptive home on Wednesday. Grab his leash if you can. PLEASE help spread the word to your network. Please also call (916) 717-9508 if you are near Alamo and can volunteer to help search for Alvin.

Permission to cross-post to other lists/forums/etc. We need as many people as possible looking for Alvin.

Thank you.

Good News! Alvin has been FOUND and is already back home safe and sound. Thank you to everyone who helped get the word out!
"We received the good news that he had been found in a neighbor's adjoining yard. The homes in this area have huge yards and the neighbors home was empty and up on the Real Estate market for sale. When the realtor was there today, she found Alvin. Alvin is very happy to be home. "

Hooray!! How wonderful for Alvin and his family. I just saw the post from Tracy and was gearing up mentally to start searching.

Is Alvin's family on this forum yet?

That is great! Thanks, Tracy for putting the notice on the forum. I saw it last night but it started storming and I wasn't able to post this. I know Alvin's new family is thrilled to have him back home!

Alvin actually went back to his foster mom. His new family felt they couldn't protect him from another escape.

He'll be looking for another new home before long, so if anyone in the Northern CA region is experiencing the onset of MHS... :biggrin1:...well you get the idea. Here's where to inquire about becoming Alvin's new fur-ever home: http://goldcountryhavaneseclub.com/rescue/availableadopted/

Geez...I just got this notice via PetAmberAlert. Seems there's another missing Havanese not far from where Alvin went missing. Looks like she's been gone almost a week already. :(

There are buttons on the page that make it easy to send out a notice via your FaceBook or Twitter accounts, so please help spread the word about little Bella. Here's hoping she will come home soon, too.

I posted Bella's information on my Facebook page. She is very cute. I tried to upload the Missing Poster here, but the file size is too large.
