Hi All: But Melissa, you may be the final arbitor. Am I being a hog? I can't seem to help myself in posting cute pictures to the gallery. Is there a limit to what how many you can post without hamming up the forum? My husband just got a new SLR camera and WOW what a difference.

He bought a Cannon Rebel XTI-SLR. He picked this because it is compact, the lensed work with the lenses he already had for his 35 mil camera. it has a 10 megapixel quality- for the best detail. And he really likes Cannon. He needed the quality because he is hoping to be able to use this to make Giclee prints of his Paintings.

Kimberly, yes both the avitar and the signiture picture are with the new camera. It is amazing. the size on that image originally was 54" X 36" you could zoom into the eyes and not see pixels. It was a bit pricey but for my husband it's a tax write-off--For me I get really cute pictures of my boys.

Perhaps I should have put this in the SLR thread.

Hi Missy, I hope you don't cut back on posting your pictures, I love them! I think you have a very fresh and contemporary style (sorry I couldn't some up with something that sounded more original, but that means I really like them and find them interesting

I've spent waaayyyy too much income on art. It's obvious that you and Milissa both have a wonderful talent and we're all lucky that you share it with us.

If only I was so lucky to have one decent image of my babies.
BTW, what kind of paintings does your husband do?

Sometimes I start a thread and put a bunch in, then I will put one or two of my favs from that "shoot" in the gallery. But either way is fine!

I just posted in the name thread before I saw this one how much I love your new pics. Didnt realize you got a new camera. They are great. The quickness and sharpness of the SLR's really help.
