This is the folding table I have, and a lot of show people use at ringside. i keep it folded down behind the couch in our camper, and bring it out as needed.

But I took a quick look for folding ring-side tables on Google, and found this one, which is a lot cheaper. I think it’s heavier, and I’m not sure how it folds. But that’s not a problem in a camper, when you don’t have to carry it around.

I wou need a lightweight one as my back definitely won’t let me load/unload a lot of weight for shows.
For you, Sandy, I HIGHLY recommend an Aeolus trolley like I have, (especially now that you have two show puppies! ;) ) It is SO light weight, easy to collapse down. It fits easily behind the seat in my car, and then I can just roll it around and bring the dogs and my grooming stuff right to the ring without carrying anything, and then you have a nice grooming surface right with you. I even put my folding chair on top when moving my stuff in and out! It is also several hundred dollars less than the comparable Best In Show trolley.

wondering what you use for outdoor shows. Seems anything might be difficult to roll through grass? Or do you not use it for the outdoor shows?
It actually has big enough wheels that it has been easy to roll through the grass. It has been no problem at all. Between that and my Moonshade, I’m all set!

Now to just wait for them to come back in stock, they’ve been out for months 😬 I keep watching the site though. Looked at the best in show ones about a year ago and did a big GULP when saw the prices. Then saw the Aeolus ones and thought the price was much better without losing any of the features.
I actually like my Aeolus better than the Best in Show trolleys. They are heavier, smaller, and the wheels are smaller, meaning they are harder to push on uneven ground.

Have you contacted Pet Choice Supply about when they expect them back in stock? When I ordered mine, they were not in stock either. I told them that I wanted to order it anyway, and just to ship me the first one they got in, in any color other than pink. (LOL! There are limits!) I think that kept my order right in front of their faces. They contacted me a couple of times telling me about wait times, telling me they were on a boat off the coast of California, and I told them it was fine. I think it took a couple of months to get it, but I am not sure they were EVER listed as "in stock" during that period. I suspect that is the most popular size, as the 4 berth one is $65 lbs, so it's STILL a beast to get in and out of the car, even if it's lighter than most similar ones! I would have preferred a pretty colored one rather than the silver, but the silver is fine. I just think Ducky would have been embarrassed by pink! LOL!

The only other problem is that you can't get a stock trolley cover for it. They SAY there is someone in the US who has them, but the person never returns emails. So I bought some cordura nylon, and I'm going to make my own. How hard can it be? Even for someone as sewing challenged as me? It's just rectangular panels with velcro tabs!

The 3 of us will be there together first weekend in March! Dooley will be there first weekend in February, I’m hoping that I will too! Having some trouble with my joints, and lots with my hips lol. Be glad when weather warms up just a little bit. I don’t like it hot (obviously, since I moved back up here from South Carolina!), but I don’t like the deep freeze either, haha.
Will you be there in February or does Ducky have plans? Lol
Ducky and I will be there for the first weekend in Feb, and the first weekend in March, as well as the 23-25 cluster, though not all 4 days. Then we well probably be home bound for a few months on puppy duty! :) The Syracuse shows may be cutting things too close…

Ahh! When do you expect Ducky’s gf to come into heat?
She is in!!! ❤ Progesterone testing has started, and she arrives at our house on Thursday!

…and the boy is getting collected to have his sperm assessed for freezing (for future reference, because he will never be more fertile than he is now) tomorrow!

Let the games begin!!!

Wow exciting! Hope all goes smoothly 🎉 Would love to see pics of the pretty lady!
I made this for the front of their litter notebook while doodling around with a new graphics program the other day. In case you couldn’t guess, ZT is the one on the right! LOL!

So excited for everyone! Going to make beautiful babies! Did you have color DNA done on them just to have a guess on litter color prediction?
Yes. They will mostly be black and white partis. There is a 25% chance of chocolate partis as both of them carry one chocolate gene. Neither Elizabeth or I are thrilled with that, but lots of people like chocolate, so as long as the girl puppy I want to keep isn’t the chocolate one, I’m OK with it. It is likely that they will have lots of white… both of them have two copies of the spotting gene. No curly gene on either side, and both have always had gorgeous, easy, silky coats. Ducky’s coat was late, but ZT’s was not, and none of her puppies have been. So I am hoping that their puppies will grow coat faster. (Faster coats that are ALSO easy makes showing easier!… not that his short coat stood in Ducky’s way! LOL!)

Most importantly, both have GREAT dispositions, lovely conformation, straight legs, good heads, good bites, perfect dentition, lovely almond eyes. ducky is a little more compact, she has a little higher tail set.

(And in case anyone is wondering, at this point, it is already likely that we have more applications than we will have puppies ;))

Oh I loved all of that! I’m sure every puppy is spoken for and probably has been for a while now 😉.
Dooley of course has no dilute, no black, no brown. He carries recessive black and tan. He also has one copy of piebald.
Mena has one dominant black and one recessive, (K/k) no brown, no dilute. She also carries one copy of piebald.
Our litter, according to the genetics, will be 50% black, 25% black with white markings, 25% black and white parti.
Dooley has the most laidback disposition of any dog I’ve ever seen, and Mena is “on” all the time. He was almost six months old before he barked. We were worried that he couldn’t, lol! Mena has made her opinions known from day one, lol!
Dooleys coat is thick, pin straight, and soft where hers is super shiny (she’s a baby yet) and very fine with lots of wave. It’s not growing as fast as Dooley’s did, but the wave alone makes it look a little shorter I think.
She definitely has longer legs than him, but both have great structure with the ever important straight legs. Dooley has perfect dentition and bite, Mena, so far, her baby teeth and bite are perfect.
Both of ours have beautiful heads as well.
Our litter is a long way off, as Mena will be showing for a while and will not be bred until she makes CH and has a 2nd heat.
I cannot wait to see ZT as she gets larger and larger. And of course watching these babies as they go from neonates to ready to fly the nest. I’m sure they’ll be brought through the puppy culture protocols and will be the happiest, healthiest, well adjusted puppers! Always so exciting to see their personalities and dispositions develop!!
I’m so excited to follow along on this wonderful, magical journey!🙂😃.
Oh, wanted to ask, is ZT sister to Boodles or daughter?
Ducky is also going to be siring another litter unrelated to this one as well?
ZT and Boodles are both out of Giggles, but different sires. Boodles is younger. Ducky MAY be siring another litter… it was planned, but Elinor is having some “life issues” right now, with an ill DIL, and this may not be a good time for her to be raising a litter. Robin is not in heat yet, so she has time to decide.

And yes, although no puppies have been promised to anyone at this point… (heck, they are still a gleam in Ducky’s eye!) we do have good pile of applications already! LOL!

If the bloodlines weren’t what they are (too close) I’d throw my application in the ring! But I’m already raising a puppy and really wouldn’t want to be training two at same time! Lol
My goal right now is just to get my little one trained and have a healthy litter next year 😉.

Yes, they are pretty closely related to your girl, and you ARE kind of full-up on puppies at the moment! LOL! Wait a couple of years and we can see what happens!
