So cute, she looks much like my rear old little Shelby Rose
Thank you! She is a treasure - never still unless she is sleeping. These little dogs are adorable. So cute, she looks much like my rear old little Shelby Rose
I will - better than struggling with a reluctant pup! 😊Oh! Keep working on that! Because you want to be brushing her teeth regularly!
Thank you for your comments. I will definitely get the vet to check her teeth. I surely want her adult teeth to be okay. She is starting to let me look into her mouth. She is a good puppy. It would be very unusual for them to grow “extra” teeth. If anything, Toy dogs have missing teeth.
What happens, is that sometimes Havanese (and other toy breeds have retained baby (deciduous) teeth. USUALLY these teeth fall out by 7 or 8 months. But you need to keep an eye on them, because if they do not, they can make the puppy’s bite go off and cause problems with their adult teeth. So if you are not sure, make sure you have the vet check for you!
I really appreciate your letting me know about this. That never occurred to me. I will certainly get the vet to check her teeth for this possibility. Thanks so much! Some Havenes grow a couple of extra teeth. Please have your Vet look for this at about 6 months and have them removed before she begins to have pain. Cost us $35 for the removable of 2.
She is adorable. Reminds me so much of my Dexter 💕
