Right now, we're calling her Ember. We wanted to keep a girl, from Lucy's litter, and this was the only girl, so we didn't have much to choose from. Looks like it's going to work out just fine.

All her littermates have gone to their permanent homes, and are doing great. Ember has been loose in the house all day today, and she fits in perfectly. No expen needed. We left the litter box out, in the middle of the great room, but she's been going in the back room, to use the ones back there. We've had an ice storm here, so no one is going outside.

Most often, you can't mix the larger puppies with the small ones, because the bigger ones overpower the little ones. She plays with the little ones, but is gentle enough that she never knocks one over. She's just 10 weeks old.

Ember sure is a beautiful girl. Bet Lucy likes having her first little girl staying with her.
Yes! They enjoy each other very much, but Ember plays with everyone. Lucy keeps a good check on her, and cleans her face. When Pam goes into the kitchen, Ember is right in the middle of the whole pack, right on Pam's heels.
