Wow - I didn't realize the General Discussion forum had all these topics. I have just been clicking on the last post. I'm learning!!

That's really the reason I've been starting new threads. We need different topics so new folks can more easily see how it works. It really is MUCH better than the list format. Some of us have been doing this for years. Once you get used to it, it really makes the list management aggravating.

The top ten new posts on the home page should help also. It will keep the threads in eye view so you dont have to navigate into the categories. Once you pick it up, its a breeze.

I like being able to change the colors of the board. You know...to fit my mood.

Just start clicking on buttons to see what happens.
Surely you cant mess anything up!!!!

I'm getting the hang of it, I think<grin>. It's much faster than using the 'list'. Especially for us ******** with dial-up service. LOL

Yall need to upload avatars, if you cant, send them to me and I can do it for you!

I went to the instruction page for the avatars and the option 'don't use avatars' is selected and I tried to 'unselect' it, but couldn't.
I'll keep trying 'til I get it figured out.

I checked and it should be ok. Instead of unchecking, try and check the one thats says Use Custom Avatar. Maybe that will automatically uncheck the other. Let me know if that works.

Maybe I'm looking in the wrong place, but I don't see the option to use custom avatar. I selected 'edit avatar' but then it just shows that I have the 'don't use avatars' button selected. The one I can't 'unselect'

OK I fixed it!!!!!
Now everyone should be able to upload avatars. I thought yall were crazy, but I logged in under a new name and it wasnt there.

I had to turn it on in two different places.
Now post away!
