PetiSocks for nail trimming

360 Views 5 Replies 5 Participants Last post by  earlybird
In a fit of frustration, I ordered a 3 pack of PetiSocks. Fezzik desperately needed his nails trimmed but it is a hassle with his poufy feet. I send more time pushing the hair away than clipping. Also the grinder almost got his hair.
Anyway, I saw these and thought, "Why not?"

They work. They work pretty well. Nail trimming is much easier and faster.

Have you tried them? How do they work?
I've heard many cavalier owners use vegetable bags for this same reason.
I watched a video where you poke the dogs nails through a nylon. The nylon holds the hair back.

It worked great! I jammed his toenails through and used a scrunchie to hold it in place. Almost all of the fluff was contained. I am sure that nylons or veggie bags would work as well. It was really helpful in trimming his duclaws.

I have some laundry bags - the mesh zip up ones for intimates/delicates, and the mesh looks very similar to this product. Going to cut one up and try it.
