ARCHMX Starborn Kodak Moment CGC, NTD, BN, PCD, NA, NAJ, CDX-CCH, RE, RLV, RL1X3, RL2X4, RL3X3... April 30 2009 - May 9, 2023

Kodi, my first dog. My very special boy. My "Flying Swiffer". The little dog who tried everything for me and went everywhere with us, introducing me to the world of dog sports when the world was looking pretty dim after having to give up horse sports.

He climbed mountains, waded through streams, went kayaking and snowshoeing. He was best friends with a German Shepherd, but never knew a (friendly) dog or person that he DIDN'T like!

He was so good with puppies that until he got older (and a little grumpy) that he was asked to play with small breed puppies in puppy classes who had no playmates their own size. He was good with little kids, and was wonderful with elderly people in hospice.

I couldn't POSSIBLY have had a better first dog, or found a better pair of breeders to get him from! 💗

I am so saddened to hear this news, especially in light of Boo’s recent passing. Kodi was a handsome dog. He was lucky to have such a wonderful life. Please accept my sincere condolences in your time of grief.

Sitting here tearing up. So sorry for your loss. Even a stranger like me reading through the forum was able to see how much you love your dogs and how great a life they all have. Kodi couldn’t have gotten any luckier than ending up with you. What a great life he had.

How heartbreaking! I'm so sorry. I was just talking to a friend about an hour ago how owning a pet is hard because you become so attached, yet pets are only with us for so long. He gave you great companionship over the years and you are blessed to have had such a beautiful sweet boy. Praying you are comforted in your time of loss.

I am so sorry to read this. Kodi was such a wonderful dog. I have enjoyed reading about him and his family since I joined the forum seven years ago. What a great life he had. We know this is heartbreaking for you and your family.

So sorry for your loss. 😢 I haven’t been on the forum very long but have come to appreciate all the love and attention you shower on your dogs. It looks like Kodi was a very lucky dog indeed and had a wonderful life with you. I hope your grief will soon be tempered by the memory of all the good times you had together.

Oh Karen, I loved your gentle old man, Kodi and teared up as I read this last night. So I know how heartbroken you are feeling! I know that little/big boy had a wonderful life with you, your family and pack. It is so obvious when I see you together how much love you had for each other. Rest in peace Kodi.
