START YOUR BIDDING TODAY, 8 am Pacific Daylight Time, Feb. 13th!!!!!!!!!!

Your bids must be sent to the following email account: [email protected]. I need your name, telephone number, and email address along with the title and payment code for each of the trophies that you would like to sponsor (see the list of trophies, sponsoring fees, and codes below). You can indicate the name you would like listed in the catalog for your sponsorship too, but I will be verifying how you want it to be listed in a separate email to each of the sponsors.

The sponsors will be determined by date and time stamp of your email to me. If you are co-sponsoring a trophy, just do what it says above, but make sure I know who the co-sponsors are and their email addresses also. Anyone can just donate if you like, any amount is gladly accepted, see the last entry below.

I will notify you if you have won the sponsorship for the trophy/trophies that you would like to sponsor along with payment instructions. Stating any alternate choice/choices would be helpful to me too!

A special note! AS of 1:OO PM, PST, the below trophies are available! Those that are taken are marked SOLD. A lot of the sites that I sent this to, truncated the list! I hope you can find all that are available from other lists! If you need a list sent directly to you, please e-mail me! Thanks!!
This year I will be starting the trophy bidding this weekend. This email is lengthy, but here are the details on how this will be handled….

STARTING AT 8 AM, PST, this SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 13th , THE TROPHIES WILL BE OPEN FOR SPONSORS! The date and time stamps of your emails will determine the winners for the trophies that you would like to sponsor. Your bids must be sent to the following email account: [email protected] . I need your name, telephone number, and email address along with the title and code for each of the trophies that you would like to sponsor (see the list of trophies, sponsoring fees, and codes below). The sponsors will be determined by date and time stamp of your email. If you can't get your bids in, then maybe you can arrange for a friend to do it for you.

I will notify you if you have won the sponsorship for the trophy/trophies that you would like to sponsor along with payment instructions. Stating any alternate choice/choices would be helpful to me too! This year I will again be accepting checks or PayPal. There is a link on the home site, www.havanese.org for trophy payments! The club will only be allowing 1 month to get the monies in for the bids once they are accepted, so I will know where we stand and what is still open for a sponsor. I will do my best to keep all of you posted on what has been sold and what is still available. There is a "special fund" also if any of you would prefer to make a contribution without sponsoring a trophy. See the last item.

I am sending this email to the HCA list, the showforum and to some of the local club lists and a few other havanese lists. I do not belong to all the club lists, so feel free to forward this email to any list or persons that you think would like to help have a great sponsorship response for this year's trophies. Check out my list of emails above. The trophies and ribbons are a very, very important part of the specialties. If any of you have any questions, just email me please.

There are two new sponsorships that will be effective on May 12, 2010 that have been added to the Regional and National lists. They are Select Dog and Select Bitch. These are the new "Grand Champion" (GC) titles that will be awarded points during the show at the judge's discretion. Points can only be given to a champion. The judge will give GC points to the BOB, BOS, one dog and one bitch champion other than the BOB and BOS. They only give the Select Ribbons to the two champions that are not the BOB or BOS. The Select Dog and Select Bitch may also be your AOM (Award of Merits) or not. AOM are in a separate class and will get their awards too. The four (BOB, BOS, Select Dog and Select Bitch) all get GC points toward completing their "Grand Champion" title. If a class dog or class bitch goes BOB, they do NOT get GC pts, as they are not champions. Only Champions can get GC points. Hope this make sense!

SO, MARK YOUR CALENDARS, SET YOUR ALARMS… DO WHATEVER YOU NEED TO DO TO BE ONE OF THE FIRST TO BID ON SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 13, 2010 AT 8 AM PST (Pacific Standard Time), TO START YOUR BIDDING!

HELP SUPPORT THE 2010 NATIONAL

Hi,
Below are the trophies that need to be sponsored as of 2/28/10. The Regionals has a lot left with only $50 sponsorships, so hopefully those of you entering the Regionals would like to sponsor one of these! The Veterans have hardly any takers either! We need to the Rally, Obedience and Agility people to help out also! We are half there, but need more help! If you can make payments or split with another Havanese owner, let me know and we will work it out!

Please forward this to others that are not on the above lists that I have sent this email. I do appreciate the many clubs that have come forward with help and support too. There is also a "special fund" which you can just donate any amount.

I know all you love to get the gorgeous big ribbons and lovely trophies from the HCA Specialties, so hopefully, we will get these filled shortly.

Hi all. I know with this economy it is hard to want to put out any $$ that isn't absolutely necessary. However, there is a real need to get these trophies accounted for. The premium list is due by March 15th, and that means we have no time to spare getting all our ducks in a row. Last year the trophies for winners and who offered them were written right in the premium list. They will be again this year, also. If you are on the fence, now is the time to jump to the side of your national club and the best national specialty we can have in August.
Those of us that are breeders as well as those of us that just love the breed owe it to our lovely companions to step up, open our wallets (even if it is only $25 towards the trophy fund), and make sure these lovely dogs and their owners/handlers get the recognition we wish we could all have at the National. I believe in our club and each individual member out there. Lets show Claudie we can get this done now, with no need to make more requests.
