I love this time of year! My Ferns and Hosta are so fresh and green and thriving. But... If anyone has silver maples trees you know what a pain they are this time of year! 5 million whirlybird seeds are falling. Whimsy picks them up in her coat and carries them into the house for me LOL We are enjoying the weather before it gets hot. :)

Whimsy and your garden are beautiful. What a great shot of both. I love my hostaa this time of year before the slugs get to them. As you said, they are sooo green.

It's funny you should say that...I have several fairy statues in my garden and also made a little 'fairy garden 'in my old wagon. When my granddaughter was little she would write the fairies notes and put them in a special fairy hole in my backyard. (They would always write back to her.)

Actually this was not really a planned photo shoot. I was taking pictures of the garden in general and she came into view. I told her to stay and she did! ( which surprised me because there was no cheese involved LOL. Just the right lighting ,at the right time ,at the right place type of thing,

Beautiful!
We just got our puppy on Saturday. She is a tiny bundle of joy. I just did not put up pics because she is dark brown, so I have to figure out how to take good pics with my phone. so everybody can see her cute little face...
We are in suburbs of Chicago too.. Which suburb are you in?
